Programming and Analysis

While completing my aerospace engineering degree at Iowa State, I learned a variety of programming languages, such as MATLAB, C, some Python, and a variety of tools for their use like Git, LaTeX, Simulink, and others. I am most proficient in MATLAB, and have completed several courses that rely heavily on its use. Some of the skills I have used MATLAB for are things like aircraft parameter modeling, in-depth design optimization, signal processing, and flight control and autonomy.

I also learned a variety of engineering analysis software for finite element analysis, flow dynamics, and more. An example below using Ansys Mechanical shows a Von-Mises stress contour plot for an airplane wing, including ribs, stiffeners, and skin.
